まず、船体工作・塗装を行いました。

船体の基本工作完了後にダークグレーのサーフェイサーを塗装して表面状態をチェックします。その後艦底を艦底色で塗装、マスキング後に木甲板をホワイト→タンの順で塗装しました。木甲板マスキングはハンターのマスキングシートを使用しました。

船体側面はMrカラー308と305です。

After completing the basic work on the hull, paint a dark gray surfacer and check the surface condition. After that, the bottom of the ship was painted in the color of the bottom of the ship, and after masking, the wooden deck was painted in the order of white → tan. For the wooden deck masking, I used the hunter’s masking sheet.

The sides of the hull are Mr Colors 308 and 305.

このキットの塗装図では艦橋上部側面はMrカラー305のみの指示になっています。一般的にはMrカラー308をベースに305で線状の迷彩が入っているはずです。

船体はマスキングで仕上げましたが、上部構造物はMrカラー308に筆で305を書き込む予定です。

In the painting drawing of this kit, the upper side of the bridge is instructed only by Mr color 305. Generally, it should have a linear camouflage at 305 based on Mr color 308.

The hull was finished with masking, but the superstructure will be brushed 305 on Mr color 308.

プリンツオイゲンのスワスチカはライン演習時とチャンネルダッシュ時で位置が異なるとされています。塗装図ではチャンネルダッシュの位置になっています。もしライン演習時で制作される場合はチャンネルダッシュの時よりも後よりになります。

In this kit, Swastika is reproduced with a two-piece decal + white circle.

Prinz Eugen’s Swastika is said to be in a different position during line exercises and channel dashes. In the painting drawing, it is the position of the channel dash. If it is produced during line exercises, it will be behind the position at the time of channel dash.
