エドワード8世のお召艦を作ろう
巡洋戦艦レナウンをエドワード8世のお召艦時代（1920年頃）で制作します。現在発売されているレナウン又はレパルスのプラモデルは第二次大戦タイプ

で、レパルスはまだ1920年の面影もありますが、レナウンだと艦橋も全く違います。そこで、使用するキットはこれ
Repulse is still close to 1920, but Renown’s bridge is completely different. So this is the kit to use
ポセイドンモデルというメーカーで、どうも中国のメーカーのようです。キットの中身を見ていきましょう。
It is a manufacturer called Poseidon model, and it seems to be a Chinese manufacturer. Let’s take a look at the contents of the kit.
キット内容
昔から見覚えのあるタイプのレジンで、ムクです。ディテールが超絶に優れている方でもないと思いますが。レジンキットとしては高品質だと思います。
It is a type of resin that has been familiar to us for a long time. I think the details are decent. I think it is of high quality as a resin kit.
一段目の甲板はほぼ一体で整形されています
The first deck is almost integrally shaped
細部パーツの袋です。出してしまうと紛失の恐れが高いのでこのままで撮影しました、ご了承下さい。
It is a bag of detailed parts. Please note that there is a high risk of loss if you take it out, so I took the picture as it is.
金属パーツ類です。主砲砲身は真鍮製、更にエッチングも含まれています。
Metal parts. The barrel of the main gun is made of brass and also includes etching.
このキットは依頼者様からお渡しいただいたのですが、お渡しいただいてパーツチェックすると副砲パーツが完全に欠落していましたので、タミヤのレパルスのパーツを流用する事にしました。また、当然の事ながらデカール類はないのでイギリス軍艦旗と示数盤は別に準備します。
This kit was handed over by the client, but when I handed it over and checked the parts, the secondary armament parts were completely missing, so I decided to use Tamiya’s Repulse parts. Also, as a matter of course, there are no decals, so we will prepare the British warship flag and the indicator board separately.
年次変更点として、お召艦時代は後部副砲はなく、天幕状のものが存在していますので、写真を見ながら自作します。
As a change, there is no rear secondary armament in the era of the ship, and there is a tent-shaped one, so I will make it myself while looking at the pictures.
このキット少し前から手を付けていたのですが、船体の反りがかなり強烈で修正に時間を要しました。また艦首もかけていたので、まずはその修理を行いました。
I had been working on it from the front, but the warp of the hull was quite strong and it took time to correct it. She also had her bow on, so I repaired it first.
