今回は胴体の合わせ目を消し、表面処理を完了させました。
This time, I erased the seams on the fuselage and completed the surface treatment.
キネティックF-104とモデルアートNF-104Aパーツとの合い
モデルアートのNF-104Aの改造パーツはハセガワのキットに合わせて作られているので、キネティックのキットとは若干合わない箇所があります。
The modified parts of the model art NF-104A are made according to the Hasegawa kit, so there are some parts that do not match the kinetic kit.

主翼以外で最も処理が難しいのはロケットエンジンが垂直尾翼を挟みこんでいる場所です。ハセガワのキットに比べてキネティックの方が垂直尾翼が薄いので、隙間が空きました。
隙間はプラ板と瞬間接着剤で埋めてから研磨して処理しました。
The most difficult part to handle other than the main wing is where the rocket engine sandwiches the vertical stabilizer. The vertical stabilizer of the Kinetic is thinner than that of the Hasegawa kit, so there is a gap.
The gap was filled with a plastic plate and instant adhesive, and then polished.
全面研磨
接着部の合わせ目を消して、レジンパーツとの隙間を埋めてから 400番→800番のスポンジやすりで全面を研磨しました。
After erasing the seams of the adhesive parts and filling the gaps with the resin parts, the entire surface was polished with a No. 400 → No. 800 sponge file.
表面に研磨したプラ粉が残っています。このままですと彫り直し用のガイドテープも貼れないので、全体を洗浄します。
Polished plastic powder remains on the surface. If it is left as it is, the guide tape for re-engraving cannot be attached, so wash the whole.
