前回の記事で主要部まで組み終わっています。今回は手すりとラッタルのエッチングを取り付け、主要武装パーツを取り付けました。
This time, I attached the handrail and rattal etching, and attached the main armed parts.
手すりとラッタルの取り付け
前回の記事でも触れましたが、ラッタルのエッチングパーツが元々入っていないので、日本海軍用ラッタルのエッチングパーツを使用しました。
As I mentioned in the previous article, Rattal’s etched parts are not originally included. I used the etched parts of the rattal for the Japanese Navy.
更に機銃座回りのネットのエッチングパーツも取り付けました。
手すりは長さが調整されているわけでもないので、ディバイダーで採寸しつつ手すりのエッチングを切り出して接着していきました。
I also attached the etched parts of the net around the machine gun seat.
Since the length of the handrail is not adjusted, I cut out the etching of the handrail and glued it while measuring with a divider.
主砲・高角砲などの塗装と取り付け
主砲と高角砲はレジンの砲塔+真鍮砲身です。
The main gun and anti-aircraft gun are a resin turret + brass barrel.
プライマー入りのサーフェイサーを吹いてから水平部をMrカラー331、その他をMrカラー338で塗装しました。
After blowing the surfacer containing the primer, I painted the horizontal part with Mr color 331 and the others with Mr color 338.
実艦写真を見ると4番砲塔の天蓋はライトグレーに見えるものがあるのですが、模型的な見栄えでダークシーグレーにしています。
次回は対空火器類とマストなどの組み立て塗装になります。完成がかなり近づいてきました。
Looking at the photo of the actual ship, the canopy of the 4th turret may look light gray, but I made it dark sea gray with an emphasis on the model appearance.
Next time, we will assemble and paint anti-aircraft firearms and masts. It’s getting pretty close to completion.
