実艦解説
アルカディア号という名前は松本零士の作品群に登場する宇宙海賊戦艦で、銀河鉄道999、宇宙海賊キャプテン・ハーロック、わが青春のアルカディア 無限軌道SSXなどに登場しています。
デザイン的には「キャプテンハーロック」TVアニメ及びコミックでは鋭角な艦首と青系統の塗装でしたが、銀河鉄道９９９劇場版以降、わが青春のアルカディア 無限軌道SSXなどは艦首にドクロのあるグリーン系の塗装に変更されています。
決定的な設定改変が行われたのは「ニーベルングの指環」と「コスモーウォーリアー零」で、キャプテンハーロックに登場した鋭角の艦首のアルカディア号は「デスシャドウ２」となっています。
The Arcadia is a space pirate battleship that appears in the works of Leiji Matsumoto, and has appeared in Galaxy Express 999, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, and Arcadia of My Youth infinite orbit SSX.
In terms of design, “Captain Harlock” TV anime and comics had a sharp bow and blue paint. Since the Galaxy Express 999 theatrical version, the Arcadia of My Youth infinite orbit SSX has been changed to a green paint with a skull on the bow.
The decisive setting changes were made to “Der Ring des Nibelungen” and “Cosmo Warrior Zero”, and the acute-angled bow Arcadia that appeared in Captain Harlock is “Death Shadow 2”.
キット紹介
1/1500という縮尺です。バンダイのキットが1/1000と1/1600で、1/1500は中途半端・・・と実物を見るまでは思っていたんですが、多分全長の設定変更がおこなわれている（バンダイは多分全長400メートル設定で、ハセガワは約500メートル設定）ので、実はバンダイの1/1000とあまり変わらない大きさ（全長35センチ弱）になっています。
プロポーションはバンダイよりも明らかにスリムで、ディテールも優れています。作りやすさもかなり進化しており、スナップフィットではないにしても無塗装でもそれなりになります。艦尾の飾りは凸モールドで、そこにデカールです・・・・・・・・ただしマークソフターなどを使い倒さないと密着は難しいです。
The scale is 1/1500. Since Bandai’s kits are 1/1000 and 1/1600, I thought that 1/1500 was halfway … until I saw the real thing, but maybe the total length setting has been changed (Bandai probably has a total length of 400). With the meter setting, Hasegawa is set to about 500 meters), so it is actually the same size as Bandai’s 1/1000 (total length is less than 35 cm).
The proportions are clearly slimmer than Bandai, and the details are also excellent. The ease of making has also evolved considerably, and it looks great even if it is not a snap fit, even if it is unpainted. The decoration on the stern is a convex mold, and there is a decal … However, it is difficult to make close contact without using the mark softer.
制作・塗装
一部のスジ彫りを彫りなおした以外はほぼストレート組です。
塗装はサーフェイサーグレー+ブラック→カーボンブラックマットを下地に立ち上げています。
グリーン１ Mrカラー340
グリーン２ Mrカラー122
ブラウン Mrカラー 赤褐色
ホワイト ニュートラルグレー１（ガイアノーツ）
基本色をグラデーション塗装してからスモークグレーでシャドウ、基本色を明るくしたものでハイライトを入れてから、再度基本色を薄く吹いています。エナメルのブラックでウォッシング後にデカールです。デカールの黄色部は一部なしにした部分もあります。最後につや消しクリアーです。
It is almost unmodified except for some streak carvings.
The painting is done with surfacer gray + black → carbon black mat as the base.

After applying the basic color by gradation, I added a shadow with smoke gray and highlighted it with a brighter basic color, and then blew the basic color lightly again. It is a decal after washing with black enamel. The yellow part of the decal is partly omitted. Finally, it is a matte clear.
