実機解説
VF-1は「超時空要塞マクロス」に登場した機体です。Ｓ型やＪ型など多くのサブタイプが存在します。
VF-1 is the aircraft that appeared in “The Super Dimension Fortress Macross”. There are many subtypes such as S type and J type.
キット紹介
大変作り易いです。同社の72のVF-1に比べても数段作り易いです。
1/72では垂直尾翼にハセガワ独自解釈のモールドが入っていたのですが、1/48では設定どおりのモールドになっているようです。
デカールは国産のシルクスクリーンのもので、大変発色も良く貼りやすいものです。ただ、コーションデータのシャープさは、以前のオフセットのものの方が良かった様な気もします。
キャノピーは中央にパーティングラインのあるバブルキャノピーとＵ字型の両方がセットされています。（注）、バブルキャノピーは「ハセガワの手抜き」ではなく、バブルキャノピーを再現するためにわざわざスライド金型にしているものです。
Very easy to make. It is much easier to make than the company’s 72 VF-1.
In 1/72, the vertical stabilizer contained a mold of Hasegawa’s original interpretation, but in 1/48, it seems that the mold is as set.
The decals are made from domestic silk screen and are very easy to color and stick. However, I feel that the sharpness of the caution data was better with the previous offset.
The canopy is set to both a bubble canopy with a parting line in the center and a U-shape. (Note) The bubble canopy is not a “cut-out of Hasegawa”, but a slide mold to reproduce the bubble canopy.
製作・塗装
垂直尾翼の衝突防止灯をクリアー化したのと一部逆エッジにスジ彫りを入れた以外はほぼストレート組です。
サフ＋ブラックを下地に基本塗装を行いました。
ホワイト スーパーシェルホワイト（フィニッシャーズ）
ブルー スーパーシェルホワイト→ウルトラブルー（ガイアノーツ）
スモークグレーでシャドウを入れた後に、ジャーマングレーでウォッシング、デカールを貼って、つや消しクリアーを吹いています。
It is almost unmodified except that the collision prevention light of the vertical stabilizer is cleared and some streaks are carved on the opposite edge.
Basic painting was done with Suff + Black as the base.
White Super Shell White (Finishers)
Blue Super Shell White → Ultra Blue (Gaia Notes)
After adding shadows in smoke gray, washing and decals are applied in German gray to blow a matte clear.
