実艦解説
老朽化したオマハ級軽巡洋艦を代替する巡洋艦として建造されました。最大の特徴は主砲が両用砲となっている事で、強力な対空火力を誇りました。元々がオマハ級の代替であった名残は防空火力に優れている艦であるにも関わらず魚雷発射管装備に残っています。
It was built as a cruiser to replace the aging Omaha-class light cruiser. Her greatest feature was that her main gun was a dual-purpose gun, boasting powerful anti-aircraft firepower. Originally an alternative to the Omaha class, the remnants remain in the torpedo launcher equipment, despite being a ship with excellent air defense firepower.
キット解説
プレミアムエディションでエッチングやドラゴンのエセックスのパーツが付属していたのですが、ファイブスターのディテールアップパーツセットとファインモールドのナノドレッドをを使用したので、キット付属のパーツはほとんど芯状態です。
Etching and dragon essex parts were included in the premium edition, but since I used the Five Star detail up parts set and Fine Molds Nanodread, the parts included in the kit are almost in the core state.

製作・塗装
船体のバルジを削り込むとことから始まって、艦橋や構造物側面はほぼエッチングとなりました。ただし、ファイブスターのエッチングも決定的に説明不足でした。
塗装パターンは説明書では甲板はデッキブルー一色なのですが、二色の塗分けだったようです。
Starting from shaving the bulge of the hull, the bridge and the sides of the structure became almost etched parts. However, the etching of Five Star was also decisively insufficiently explained.
According to the instruction manual, the deck is painted in one color, deck blue, but it seems that it was painted in two colors.
