実艦解説
睦月型駆逐艦 菊月は珊瑚海海戦の直前に空襲を受け沈没しました。菊月保存会が4番砲の砲身を引き上げ、その砲身は現在京都市舞鶴の彌伽宜神社に存在しています。
Mutsuki-class destroyer Kikuzuki was sunk by an air raid just before the Battle of the Coral Sea. The Kikuzuki Preservation Society pulled up the barrel of the 4th gun, and the barrel now exists at the MIkage jinja in Maizuru, Kyoto City.

型抜きの都合でタンブルフォームが再現されていないので、水線付近にプラ板を貼ってからパテを塗って上すぼまりのタンブルフォームを再現してみました
エッチングはテトラモデルワークスの睦月型のものです。マストは真鍮線に変更しています。
Since the tumble foam has not been reproduced due to die cutting, I put a plastic plate near the water line and then applied putty to reproduce the tumble foam with a narrow top.
Etching is Mutsuki type of Tetra Model Works. The mast is changed to brass wire.
タミヤの瓶入りラッカー系塗料について
この塗料の意義とか歴史的経緯とかは置いておいて、特性と軍艦色系の色合いのみです。
まず特性的には「一部の例外を除いてクレオスのＭｒカラー＆ガイアカラー＆フィニッシャーズカラーと混色可能、上塗り可能」です。一部の例外というのは本当に極々一部だと思います。ガイアカラーとＭｒカラーでも極々稀に上塗りすると割れたり、上手く混ざらない事が発生したからです。ですのでメーカー的には「他のカラーとは混ぜられない、上塗りできない」となると思います。ですが、大半の場合はまず問題ありません。私はＭｒカラーとガイアカラーの混色や上塗りでトラブルが発生したのは10年ほどで２回だけです、両方ホワイトとクリアーなのでホワイトの塗料の特性かもしれません。
乾燥は瓶生だと遅めで、そのままで筆塗りしやすそうです。
色合いはブラックとホワイトと混ぜたであろう軍艦色で、クレオスの軍艦色２に長らく入っていたクリアーイエローなどは含まれていません。その為どちらかというと青方向に振れている軍艦色になります。そもそもブラックという塗料には大量のブルーが含まれているので、青系が強くなって当然ではありますね。もし青系が気に入らない人は補色のイエローを少量プラスすれば青系を弱められます。
ただ、このタミヤカラーの軍艦色は「つや消し」なので、少し注意が必要かもしれません。なおエアブラシ塗装の場合はレベリングうすめ液系を使用しているので、そこまでつや消しにはなりませんでした。
Aside from the significance and historical background of this paint, it is only the characteristics and the shades of the warship color system.
First of all, the characteristic is “with some exceptions, it can be mixed with Creos’s Mr color, Gaia color, and finisher’s color, and can be overcoated.” I think some exceptions are really just a few. This is because even with Gaia color and Mr color, when the top coat was applied very rarely, it cracked or did not mix well. Therefore, from the manufacturer’s point of view, I think that it cannot be mixed with other colors and cannot be overcoated. But in most cases this is fine. I have had trouble mixing Mr color and Gaia color and topcoating only twice in about 10 years. Both are white, so it may be a characteristic of white paint.
Drying is slow if it is bottled, and it seems easy to paint with a brush as it is.
The color is a warship color that would have been mixed with black and white, and does not include the clear yellow that has long been included in Creos warship color 2. Therefore, it will be a warship color that is swinging in the blue direction. In the first place, the paint called black contains a large amount of blue, so it is natural that the blue color becomes stronger. If you don’t like the blue color, you can weaken the blue color by adding a small amount of the complementary color yellow.
However, this Tamiya color warship color is “matte”, so you may need to be a little careful. In the case of airbrush painting, a leveling thin liquid system is used, so it did not become so matte.
