実車解説

「こち亀」の両さんも持っているはずのシェリダンは５０歳前後のモデラーには特別な感慨のある戦車ではないかと思います。私も大昔にリモコン戦車で作った記憶があります。何より主砲からミサイルも撃てるというのが何ともSF的で子供心に刺さりました(笑)

The Sheridan, which Mr. Ryo of “Kochikame” should have, is a tank with a special feeling for modelers around the age of 50. I also have a memory that I made with a remote control tank a long time ago. Above all, being able to shoot missiles from the main gun was very SF-like and stuck in my child’s heart .

キット紹介

最近タミヤは自社のベテランのAFVキットをリニューアルする方向性を打ち出しているように感じます。とても作りやすいキットであるだけでなく、主砲の上下可動の方法やスモークディスチャージャーの組み方など革新的なものも取り入れています。「最近の考証とモールドでやりなおしましたよ」だけのものになっていないのが素晴らしい部分です。

Recently, I feel that Tamiya is planning to renew its veteran AFV kit. Not only is it a very easy kit to make, but it also incorporates innovative things such as how to move the main gun up and down and how to assemble the smoke discharger. It is a wonderful part that it is not just “I did it again with recent research and mold”.

製作・塗装

専用のディテールアップパーツを使用しました。前面のワイヤーネットは特にエッチングの威力が大きい部分でした。
　
レッドブラウンの下地にタミヤの瓶入りラッカー系塗料のオリーブドラブの明度を変えつつ基本塗装を行いました。グランドブラウンでウォッシング後にデカールを貼って、再度シャバシャバのオリーブドラブを全体に塗装してから、つや消しクリアーを塗装しました。ウェザリングマスターでウェザリングで完成です。

I used special detail up parts. The wire net on the front was a part with particularly high etching performance.
　
I used Tamiya’s bottled lacquer paint olive drab on a red-brown base while changing the brightness. After washing with Grand Brown, decals were applied, and after painting the entire surface again with Shaba Shaba Olive Drab, I painted matte clear. It is completed with weathering with the weathering master.

2016年製作Made in 2016タコムのキットを作るのは初めてなのですが、離型剤を除けばかなり組みやすいキットでした。何よりチーフテンのニューキットというだけで感涙ものですThis is my first time making a Takom kit, but it was quite easy to assemble except for the release agent.
