ポセイドンモデル　1/700 イギリス海軍巡洋戦艦レナウン　４　手すりの取り付け　Renown　Poseidon model

前回の構造物工作に続いて手すりと甲板上の通風塔の取り付けを行います。

Following the previous structure work, we will install the handrail and the ventilation tower on the deck.

波切板がない

タミヤのレパルスを見ておや？と思った事です。

波切板は？？？？

キットの説明書には全く記載がなく、参考イラストには描いてあるエッチングパーツもレジンパーツも存在していないのですが、前甲板には波切板があります。

Look at Tamiya’s Repulse? I thought.

What about manger board? ?? ?? ??

There is no description in the instruction manual of the kit, and there are no etched parts or resin parts drawn in the reference illustration, but there is a manger board on the front deck.

実はトランぺッターピットロードのレナウンのキットも手元にありパーツを転用できないかと思ったのですが、32ナウンは1942状態で波切板の構造も違う上に、二番砲塔後方の構造物が左右に拡張されているので、二番砲塔後方の波切板はありません。

最終的にはプラ板で作りました。

Actually, I had a Renown kit for Trumpeter Pit Road and I was wondering if I could use the parts, but the Renown kit is in 1942 and the structure of the manger board is also different. Furthermore, since the structure behind the second turret is extended to the left and right, there is no manger board behind the second turret.

Finally, I made it from a plastic board.

手すりが足りない！

さらにエッチングの手すりを取り付け始めて気が付いたのですが

これエッチングの手すりの長さがかなり足りないんじゃない？

という事で、手持ちの3段手すりエッチングから高さが同じものを探し出し出しました。キットのエッチングパーツに探し出したエッチングを追加して長さを確保しました。

I also noticed when I started to install the etching handrail.

Isn’t this the length of the etching handrail quite short?

So, I searched for the one with the same height from the 3-step handrail etching I had. I added the etching I found to the etching parts of the kit to secure the length.

通風塔も足りない！

甲板上の通風塔も数が全く足りないので、他から調達しました。フライホークのフッドのパーツを使おうかとも思ったのですが、流石に1万円を超えるキットを通風塔の為だけに使うのは気が引けたので他の方法を探しました。

思いついたのが、フジミの最上型です。通風塔別なので使えそうという事で、フジミの鈴谷を手配して通風塔だけ使う事にしました。

The number of ventilation towers on the deck is not enough, so I procured it from another company. I thought about using the parts of the hood of the fly hawk, but I was reluctant to use the kit that costs more than 10,000 yen only for the ventilation tower, so I searched for another method.

I came up with the MOGAMI of Fujimi. Since it is a separate ventilation tower, I decided to arrange Fujimi’s Suzuya and use only the ventilation tower.
