通風口などのエッチングを取り付けました

I installed etching such as ventilation holes

天窓？のエッチングパーツです。エッチングパーツの宿命として、角には隙間が出るので、裏側から角には瞬着を充填します。

Skylight? is an etched part. As the fate of photo-etched parts, there will be gaps in the corners, so fill the corners from the back with instant glue.

瞬間接着剤の硬化後に透け止めのカーボンブラックマットを塗っておきます。カーボンブラックの乾燥後に更にホワイトでタッチアップしておきます。

After curing the instant adhesive, apply a carbon black matte to prevent see-through. After the carbon black dries, touch it up with white.

エッチングを球面状にまげろという指示があります

There is an instruction to bend the etching into a spherical shape

下にスポンジを引いてからデザインナイフのホルダーので押さえて曲げます。もちろん、曲がってはいけない部分は後で修正します。

Place a sponge underneath and bend it by holding it with the holder of the design knife. Of course, we will fix the parts that should not be bent later.

こうやって、甲板に密着させます。

This is how it sticks to the deck.
