Mr.ポリッシャーPROの本体やヘッドの供給が不安定になってきたので、電動歯ブラシをポリッシャーに改造しました。

Since the supply of Mr. Polisher PRO main body and heads has become unstable, I modified an electric toothbrush into a polisher.

更にパワーのあるペンサンダーも使っていますが、往復運動のペンサンダーと回転運動のMr.ポリッシャーPROは特性が違います。

I have been using Mr.Polisher PRO from Creos for many years.

I also use a more powerful pen sander, but the characteristics of the reciprocating motion pen sander and the rotating motion Mr. Polisher PRO are different.

電動歯ブラシを投入

長年使用していますし、いつ使えなくなってもおかしくないので、電動歯ブラシをヤスリとして使用しました。

I’ve been using it for many years, and it wouldn’t be strange if it stopped working, so I used an electric toothbrush as a file.

ブラウンの電動歯ブラシ

近所のスギ薬局で売っていたブラウンの電動歯ブラシを購入しました

I bought a Braun electric toothbrush from Sugi Pharmacy in my neighborhood.

充電式の電動歯ブラシもありますが、5分以上連続使用する事が多いヤスリには不向きなので、乾電池式を選びました。

There are rechargeable electric toothbrushes, but they are not suitable for files that are often used continuously for more than 5 minutes, so I chose the dry battery type.

単三電池2本で駆動します。充電式の電池でも使えますが、アルカリ乾電池に比べ電圧が低いためパワーが小さくなりますので、私はアルカリ乾電池を使用しています。

ヘッドの改造

ヘッドのブラシをプライヤーなどで抜きます。

Pull out the head brush with pliers.

一本一本植えてあるのではなく、一本抜くとはするすると反対側？の一本が抜けます。

It is not planted one by one, so if you pull out one, the other one will come out as well.

Mr.ポリッシャーPROのやすりを取り付けてみた。ブラウンの電動歯ブラシ方が少し大きいようです。知直径はMr.ポリッシャーPROが約13㎜、ブラウンが約15㎜です。

I attached the file of Mr. Polisher PRO. Braun’s electric toothbrush seems to be slightly larger. The tip diameter is about 13 mm for Mr. Polisher PRO and about 15 mm for Brown.

直径15㎜の円形の交換ヤスリを作る

15mmのパンチを探して購入しました

I searched for a 15mm punch and purchased it

指先で押して切るのですが、指先だとタミヤのフィニッシングペーパーはなんとか切れます。

I cut it by pushing it with my fingertips, but with my fingertips, Tamiya’s finishing paper can be cut somehow.

ただ、普通の耐水ペーパーは指先の力ではとても切れません

However, ordinary waterproof paper cannot be cut with the force of your fingertips.

なので、パンチの上に手のひらで押さえられるものを置いて

So put something on top of the punch that you can hold with your palm

私の場合は近くにあったオルファの刃折り器を使いました

In my case, I used a nearby Olfa blade folding machine.

えいや！と押せばなんとか切れます

If you press it, you can cut it somehow

ヘッドとの接続

クッション付きの両面テープでも良いのですが

Double-sided tape with a cushion is fine, but

Amazonで何だか便利そうなものを見つけたので購入

I found something useful on Amazon so I bought it

こういう透明な両面テープ状のものです。15mmでカット済みなのがうれしい！、ちなみに繰り返し使えるかというと二回くらいなら・・・・・という印象です。

It’s like a transparent double sided tape. I’m glad that it’s already cut at 15mm! By the way, I have the impression that it can be used repeatedly if it is about twice.
