実機解説
スウェーデン サーブ社のジェット機です。ジェット戦闘機に後退翼が装備され始めた時代の機体で、ソ連のMiG-15やアメリカのF-86などが同世代機になります。
It is a jet aircraft of Sweden Saab. It is an aircraft of the era when jet fighters began to be equipped with swept wings, and the Soviet MiG-15 and the American F-86 will be the same generation aircraft.
スタイル的な特徴としてはエンジンノズルの位置が機体最後方ではない事が挙げられます。エンジン装備位置の関係なのか主翼が胴体のかなり高い位置に装備されている事も特徴となっています。
The style feature is that the position of the engine nozzle is not at the rear of the fuselage. It is also a feature that the main wing is installed at a considerably high position on the fuselage, probably because of the engine equipment position.
輸出は唯一オーストリアにのみ行っています。この完成品もオーストリア空軍仕様です。オーストリアはサーブ29 テュナンの後、サーブJ35ドラケンを採用しています。
We only export to Austria. This finished product is also Austrian Air Force specification. Austria has adopted Saab J35 Draken after Saab 29 Tunnan.
キット紹介
サーブ29テュナンというとエレールの1/72のプラモデルがほぼ唯一の時代が長かったのですが、2000年代に1/48 AZモデルから、2010年代に、1/72でスウェーデンのタラングス、1/48で同じくスウェーデンのパイロットレプリカからも発売されています。ただ、両社ともかなり高価で、私も実物を見たことはありません。
In the 20th century, the Saab 29 Tunnan plastic model was almost the only 1/72 plastic model made by Heller, but from the 1/48 AZ model in the 2000s, the Swedish Tarangus at 1/72 and the same at 1/48 in the 2010s. It is also available from Swedish pilot replicas. However, both companies are quite expensive, and I have never seen the real thing.
作ってから気が付いたのですが、このホビーボスのキットは全体の縮尺を誤っているようです。概ね1/52になるようです。ただし、全体のバランスは悪くないので、厳密な縮尺を求めないならば問題なさそうです。
After making it, I noticed that this HobbyBoss kit seems to be on the wrong scale. It seems to be about 1/52. However, the overall balance is not bad, so if you don’t ask for a strict scale, there seems to be no problem.

製作
スジ彫りが浅めなので、全体を彫りなおしてから組み立てを行いました。塗装はMrカラーの8番シルバーです。
Since the streak carving is shallow, I re-carved the whole and then assembled it. The painting is Mr color No. 8 silver.
