トランぺッターの1/350 イギリス海軍軽巡洋艦 カルカッタのプラモデルの完成品です。同梱されているエッチングパーツだけでなく汎用エッチングパーツも使用してディテールアップを行いました。

1/350 of Trumpeter This is a completed plastic model of the Royal Navy light cruiser Calcutta. We have improved the details using not only the included etching parts but also general-purpose etching parts.
実艦解説
C級巡洋艦は基準排水量4000トン程度の小型巡洋艦で、日本海軍の天龍型軽巡洋艦、5500トン級軽巡洋艦に近い規模と性能を持っていました。第二次大戦前に防空巡洋艦に改造され、主砲を高角砲に換装しました。
The C-class cruiser is a small cruiser with a standard displacement of about 4000 tons, and had a scale and performance similar to the Tenryu-class light cruiser of the Japanese Navy and the 5500-ton class light cruiser. It was converted into an air defense cruiser before World War II, and the main gun was replaced with a high-angle gun.
キット紹介
トランぺッターのキットです。
そのままでは組めない部分もいくつかありますし、エッチング付属なのに手すりが何故か上部構造物分しかないとか不十分さもあるのですが、それでも1/350でC級を出しただけでも拍手です。
Trumpeter kit.
There are some parts that cannot be assembled as it is, and even though it comes with etching, there are some reasons that the handrail is only for the superstructure or it is insufficient, but even if it is 1/350, it is applause.
制作・塗装
組めない部分の代表例としてはボートダビットです。
１ ボートとの接続部分を自作
２ ボートダビットが内側に向くように改造
のどちらかで済みますから致命傷ってほどではありません。
塗装はMr338を基本にしました。
A typical example of a part that cannot be assembled is a boat dabit.
1 Make your own connection with the boat
2 Modified so that the boat dabit faces inward
It’s not a fatal injury because you can do either.
Painting was based on Mr338.
