NIKOモデル　アメリ海軍軽巡洋艦マーブルヘッドの基本工作から甲板塗装まで行います。

まずファインモールドのご機嫌クリーナーで全体を洗浄、その後に工作を開始します。

First, clean the whole thing with Fine Molds’ mood cleaner, and then start working.

ケース固定用ネジ下穴開け

ケース固定用のネジ穴を開けます

Make a screw hole for fixing the case

もともとかなりの気泡がありますね。でも底に気泡がある場合は特に処理はしなくても良いでしょう。このキットは最終的に木ネジで固定しますので、下穴を開けます。

Originally there are quite a few bubbles. But if there are bubbles on the bottom, you don’t need to do anything. This kit will finally be fixed with wood screws, so make a pilot hole

表面処理

喫水線付近に段差は若干ありますね。

There are some poor shaping near the waterline.

サーフェイサー吹き

次に表面を研磨して段差を消していきます。

表面処理が完了したら再度中性洗剤で表面を洗浄します。主として研磨くずや粉を落とすための洗浄です。

下地としてガイアノーツのメカサフライトを吹きます

Next, polish the surface to eliminate the steps.

After the surface treatment is completed, clean the surface again with a neutral detergent. It is a cleaning mainly for removing polishing debris and powder.

Paint Gaia Notes Mecha Saflight as a base

表面状態をチェックします。

Check the surface condition.

うっすらと凹みが残っているのでラッカーパテを塗ってから再度研磨し、サーフェイサーが削れて無くなった部分にもう一度サーフェイサーを吹きます。

Since there are some dents left, apply lacquer putty, polish it again, and blow the surfacer again on the part where the surfacer has been scraped off.

甲板塗装

甲板はデッキブルーです。クレオス　アメリカ海軍迷彩色のデッキブルーで塗装しました
