実車解説
特二式内火艇（カミ）は海軍陸戦隊の水陸両用戦車です。
The Type 2 Ka-Mi is an amphibious tank of the Imperial Japanese Navy Land Force.
前後にフロートを装着する上陸作戦での使用を想定されていました。また、ウィキペディアによれば、多号作戦の第9次作戦に、二等輸送艦に搭載されてオルモック湾の逆上陸策戦に投入されているようです。ちなみに「竹」が奮戦したオルモック夜戦は第7次作戦です。
It was supposed to be used in landing operations with floats on the front and back. Also, according to Wikipedia, it seems that it was mounted on a second-class transport ship and put into the reverse landing operation of Ormoc Bay in the 9th operation of the Battle of Ormoc Bay. By the way, the Ormoc night battle, in which “Bamboo” fought hard, is the 7th operation.
艦船モデラーにとっては特二式といえば、何と言ってもタミヤの輸送艦セットについているフロート付の姿を思い出すので、昨年の秋のホビーショーで「特二式内火艇」のパネルが展示されていてもピンと来なかったのも事実です。
For ship modelers, the Type 2 Ka-Mi reminds me of Tamiya’s transport ship set with a float. It is also a fact that even though the panel of “Type 2 Ka-Mi” was exhibited at the hobby show last fall, it did not come to mind.
キット
サイバーホビー／ドラゴンのキットです。説明書以外はかなり良く出来たキットです。カミ用のマジックトラックも出ているようなのですが、今回はキット付属のドラゴンスチレン製のベルト式の履帯を使用しました。
Cyber hobby / dragon kit. It is a fairly well-made kit except for the instructions. There seems to be a magic track for kami, but this time I used the dragon styrene belt type track that came with the kit.
塗装
１ サーフェイサーグレー＋サーフェイサーブラックを、ほぼガイアノーツのジャーマングレー位の色に調合して全面に塗装
２ シャドウ部と転輪のゴム部にカーボンブラックマットを細吹きで塗装
３ クレオスの軍艦色２でシャドウ部を残しながら塗装
４ 薄めた軍艦色２を全面に塗装
５ シャドウ部にスモークグレーを塗装
６ 軍艦色２＋ホワイトを二段階くらいでハイライト部に塗装
７ 転輪のゴム部などを再度カーボンブラックマットの細吹きでトリミング
８ 薄めた軍艦色２を全面に塗装
1 Surfacer gray + surfacer black is mixed with almost Gaia Notes German gray color and painted on the entire surface.
2 Finely paint carbon black mat on the shadow part and the rubber part of the wheel
3 Painted with Creos warship color 2 while leaving the shadow part
4 Paint the diluted warship color 2 on the entire surface
5 Paint smoke gray on the shadow part
6 Warship color 2 + white is painted on the highlight part in about two stages
7 Trim the rubber part of the wheel again with a fine blow of carbon black mat
8 Paint the diluted warship color 2 on the entire surface
この後ブラック＋ジャーマングレーでウォッシング。デカール、つや消しクリアー、ウェザリングマスターでウェザリング、シルバーで軽くドライブラシ。
After this, wash with black + German gray, decal, matte clear, weathering with weathering master, lightly dry brush with silver.
スクリューのゴールドがグロスのままだったのがちょっと目立ちすぎかな？？？という感じです。
Is it a little too noticeable that the gold on the screw remained glossy?
