　P-51と言えばバブルキャノピーのP-51Dのイメージが強いのですが、バブルキャノピーではないP-51B/Cも存在しています。P-51Aのエンジンはアリソンだったのですが、P-51B/Cではロールスロイスのマーリン60を搭載しています。同じエンジンを積んでいるスピットファイアMK.9に比べると、航続力ではP-51Bが倍以上ありますが、運動性ではスピットファイア優勢だったようです

　塗装がイギリス空軍のファイターコマンドなので、メタリックのイメージが強いP-51Dと印象が異なり。あまりP-51ぽく見えませんね。

　トランぺッターのキットです。翼端灯は位置が間違っているので修正してあります。コクピットは床板が誤っているので、レジンパーツを使用しています。

The P-51 has a strong image of the bubble canopy P-51D, but there are also P-51B / Cs that are not bubble canopies. The engine of the P-51A was Allison, but the P-51B / C is equipped with the Rolls-Royce Marlin 60. Compared to the Spitfire MK.9, which has the same engine, the P-51B has more than double the cruising power, but it seems that the Spitfire was superior in terms of mobility.

Since the painting is a fighter command of the Royal Air Force, the impression is different from the P-51D, which has a strong metallic image. It doesn’t look like a P-51.

Trumpeter kit. The position of the wing tip light is incorrect, so it has been corrected. The cockpit has the wrong floorboard, so resin parts are used.
