実機解説

B-1のコピーという話も見かけるのですが、むしろどこがコピーなのか聞いてみたい位違います。そもそも、tu-160はB-1に比べ一回り大きいです。低空での爆撃任務というコンセプトが同じなら、大体同じような形状になってしまうという好例だと思います。

I see a story about a copy of B-1, but it’s rather different than I would like to ask where the copy is. In the first place, tu-160 is one size larger than B-1. If the concept of bombing missions at low altitude is the same, I think it is a good example that the shapes will be almost the same.

キット紹介

Tu-160のプラモデルはズベズダとトランぺッターから発売されています。ズベズダのキットは未見なので分かりませんが、トランぺッターのキットが2008年発売、ズベズダのキットは2010年発売です。

トランぺッターは2005年に1/72でTu-160を発売していましたので、スケールダウン版のキットになります。翼は前進状態と後退状態の選択式です。

Tu-160 plastic models are available from Zvezda and Trumpeter. I haven’t seen the Zubezda kit, so I don’t know what it is. The Trumpeter kit was released in 2008, and the Zvezda kit was released in 2010.

Trumpeter released the Tu-160 at 1/72 in 2005, so it will be a scaled-down version of the kit. The wings are selectable between forward and backward.

製作・塗装

基本的にストレート組です。基本工作後に透け止めのダークグレー→ホワイトの基本塗装です。足回りはエアクラフトグレー、ホイールはシルバーにしました。ライトグレーでシェード、グレーでウォッシング後にデカール、つや消しクリアーです。

主翼後退時には主翼内側フラップが胴体内に引き込まれるのではなく、上に折りたたまれます。見栄え重視で前進状態にしてみました。

I made it basically straight. It is a basic painting of dark gray → white to prevent see-through after basic work. The suspension is Aircraft Gray and the wheels are Silver. Light gray for shade, gray for decal after washing, and matte clear.

When the wing retracts, the inner flap of the wing is folded up instead of being pulled into the fuselage. I tried to move forward with an emphasis on appearance.
