本来、船体のゴールドか黄色の帯を入れようと思っていたのです。

Originally, I was thinking of adding a gold or yellow band to the hull.

タイタニックに帯はあるのか？

タイタニックには金色の帯があると思いこんでいたのですが、進水時の写真にはどうもないです。最近はAIでの着色のカラー画像も出回っているので参照しました。

一応ありそう・・・という結論になったのですが、ゴールドとも黄色ともとれる色です。模型で試すしかないなと思いました。

I thought the Titanic had a gold band, but the launch photo doesn’t show it. Recently, color images colored with AI are also on the market, so I referred to them.

I came to the conclusion that it is likely, but it is a color that can be both gold and yellow. I thought I had to try it on a model.

船首のホースパイプがない

それ以上に気になったのが船首でして、船首にホースパイプがあるようです。これは気が付かなった。

More than that, I was worried about the bow, and it seems that there is a hose pipe on the bow. I didn’t notice this.

2㎜のプラ丸棒を接着してから、サンディング。先端をドリルで開口しました。

で、ゴールドの帯を貼ってみました。ハセガワのゴールドフィニッシュです。これだとよくわからないので

こう見るとやっぱりイエロー系なのかな？という印象です。それもかなり細い帯が必要のようですね。1/700なので、ある程度太くなるとは言え、もう少し細めでしょう。

If you look at it like this, is it really yellow? That’s my impression. It looks like you need a very thin strip. Since it is 1/700, it will be a little thinner, although it will be thicker to some extent.
