エデュアルドのシートベルトパーツなどが到着したのでバッカニアの製作をスタートします。

おもり用のパーツがある！

　キットレビューの時には気が付かなかったのですが、おもり用のパーツがあります。

I didn’t notice it during the kit review, but there are parts for packing weights.

こういうおもりを詰めるためのパーツがあります。

こうやって機首に固定するわけです。

機首まで左右分割式のキットの場合、どうやっておもりを詰めるかが問題になりますが。実にシンプルかつ合理的な方法だと思います。もちろんタミヤのように最初からおもりをパーツ化しておくのもありなのでしょうけども。

This is how it is fixed to the nose.

In the case of a left and right split type kit up to the nose, the problem is how to pack the weight. I think it’s really simple and reasonable. Of course, like Tamiya, it would be possible to make weights into parts from the beginning.

コクピット

コクピットの細部表現は基本的にモールドです。ここまで塗ってから細部を筆塗りします。

The detailed representation of the cockpit is basically a mold. After painting up to here, paint the details with a brush.

シートベルトはエデュアルドのZOOMを使用しました。あくまで個人的な好みになりますが、1/48だとデカールは厚みがなくてちょっと実感に乏しいかなという印象です。1/72なら十分なんですけどね。

I used Eduard Zoom seat belts. It’s just my personal preference, but I feel that the decals on 1/48 scales are not thick enough to give you a sense of reality. 1/72 is enough for me.

機首が完成です。実に作りやすいです。

The nose is complete. Really easy to make.
