基本工作を完了したので、基本塗装を行います

パーツ洗浄後に、全体にサーフェイサーを塗装します。サーフェイサーはメカサフライトです。

After cleaning the parts, apply the surfacer to the entire surface.

傷のチェックなどを行って修正後に基本塗装を行います。

After checking for scratches and making corrections, basic painting is performed.

グロスのエクストラダークシーグレーをどうするか

海軍のバッカニアは全面グロスのエクストラダークシーグレーか、下面ホワイト、上面グロスのエクストラダークシーグレーです。

Mr.カラーではエクストラダークシーグレーはMr.カラー333です。このMr.カラー333は半光沢です。

1/72の時は半光沢塗装の上にクリアーを何回も重ねて光沢にしました。

The Navy Buccaneer is Gloss Extra Dark Sea Gray on all sides or White on the bottom and Gloss on the top Extra Dark Sea Gray.

In Mr. Color, Extra Dark Sea Gray is Mr. Color 333. This Mr. Color 333 is semi-gloss.

For 1/72, I layered the clear paint many times over the semi-gloss paint to make it glossy.

1/48だと、クリアーを何回も重ねるのはなかなか大変です。更に既に結構重いので塗装中にうかｋり触ったりするとリカバリーが大変になります。

そこで、グロスのエクストラダークシーグレーを調合する事にしました

究極的には黒と白と青で作れると思うのですが、なるべく単純な調合を目指しました。

今回使用したのは

ガイアノーツ　ミッドナイトブルー

ガイアノーツ　ニュートラルグレーⅣ

With 1/48, it is quite difficult to clear many times. In addition, it is already quite heavy, so if you accidentally touch it during painting, recovery will be difficult.

Therefore, I decided to formulate Gloss Extra Dark Sea Gray.

Ultimately, I think it can be made with black, white, and blue, but I aimed for a simple combination as much as possible.

This time we used

Gaia Notes Midnight Blue

Gaia Notes Neutral Gray IV

の2色で、ミッドナイトブルーとニュートラルグレーⅣを２対１としてみました。

With these two colors, I tried Midnight Blue and Neutral Gray IV as a 2:1 ratio.

基本塗装完了

まずまず良い感じではないでしょうか。もう少し青みが欲しい場合は青を足せばよいですし、もう少し暗くしたいなら、ニュートラルグレーⅣを減らせばよいと思います。

下面のホワイトはガイアノーツのEXホワイト+アルティメットホワイトです。

Isn’t it a good feeling to begin with? If you want a little more bluishness, you can add blue, and if you want a little darker, you can reduce Neutral Gray IV.

The white on the underside is Gaianotes EX White + Ultimate White.
