ユンカースD1の組み立てを開始します。説明書通りの手順では組み立てられないので、少し注意が必要です。まず機体内部を組み立てます。

プラモデルの構造はモノコック

実機の胴体はフレームに波板金属板の構造でモノコック又はセミモノコックではないと考えられますが、プラモデルの構造はモノコック（外側で荷重を受ける）です。つまり、フレームパーツを基準に外板を組むのではなく。外板を基準にフレームパーツを組むのが基本となります。

The fuselage of the actual machine has a structure in which a corrugated metal plate is attached to the frame, and it is considered that it is not a monocoque or a semi-monocoque, but the structure of the plastic model is a monocoque (which receives a load on the outside). In other words, instead of assembling the outer panel based on the frame parts, it is basic to assemble the frame parts based on the outer panel.

説明書ではバルクヘッドの下側にある上に膨らんだフレームを胴体下に接着することになっていますが、説明書の方法では位置を決められません。

The instructions are to first glue the inflated frame underneath the bulkhead under the fuselage. However, the position cannot be determined by the method described in the manual.

上に膨らんだフレームにバルクヘッドを通し、胴体下と左右胴体を仮止めしてから、左右胴体の凹みに合わせてバルクヘッドを胴体下だけに接着します。その後で上に膨らんだフレームを胴体下に接着します。この２つのパーツの位置が決まれば一安心で、計器盤や後部のフレームも胴体下に接着していきます。

Pass the bulkhead through the frame that bulges upward, temporarily fix the bottom of the fuselage and the left and right fuselage, and then glue the bulkhead only under the fuselage according to the dents of the left and right fuselage. Then glue the inflated frame under the fuselage. Once the positions of these two parts are decided, you can rest assured that the instrument panel and the rear frame will also be glued under the fuselage.

エンジン

エンジンもかなり精密に再現されていますが左右胴体を貼り合わせると上部以外は見えなくなります。エンジンを見せる作り方をするなら別ですが、エンジン下部は精密に塗装しなくても良いでしょう。

The engine is also reproduced quite precisely, but if you stick the left and right fuselage together, you can not see anything other than the upper part. Unless you want to show the engine, you don’t have to paint the bottom of the engine precisely.
