前回のエンジンやコクピットを組み立てました。胴体と主翼を組み立てていきます。

I assembled the previous engine and cockpit. I will assemble the fuselage and main wings.

エンジンカウルの組立

レジンキットなのにエンジンカウル取り付け用のピンがあるのは凄い！。ただ、開け閉めはかなり難しいでしょう。開状態でも作れますよという事だと思います。

Even though it is a resin kit, it is amazing that there is a pin for attaching the engine cowl! .. However, opening and closing will be quite difficult. I think it means that you can make it even in the open state.

機首も差し込み用のピンがあります。実に親切な設計です。

パーツ精度も大変高くレジンキットとして、最上級の品質だと思います。

The nose also has a pin for insertion. It’s a really kind design.

The precision of the parts is also very high, and I think it is the highest quality resin kit.

表面処理とサーフェイサー吹き

合わせ目を消すなどの表面処理を行ってからプライマー入りサーフェイサーを吹きました。私が使っているのはこれ

After surface treatment such as erasing the seams, the surfacer containing the primer was applied. This is what i am using

このキットの場合、翼後端は極めて薄い上に使われているレジンの特性でかなり透けてしまいます。そのためプライマーのみよりはプライマー入りサーフェイサー又はプライマー→下地のグレーという下地塗装が必要です。

In the case of this kit, the rear end of the wing is extremely thin and the characteristics of the resin used make it quite transparent. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a primer-containing surfacer or primer → base gray, rather than just the primer.

零戦などと比較すると極端に主翼上反角が無く、ちょっと疑問に思ったのですが、実機の上反角がほとんどないので、これで全く問題ないようです。

Compared to the Zero Fighter, the main wing has no dihedral angle, so I was a little wondering, but since there is almost no dihedral angle of the actual machine, this seems to be no problem at all.

処理ミスの部分に瞬着を塗って硬化させてから再度研磨し、再度サーフェイサーを吹いて下地処理が完了です。

Apply instant adhesive to the mistaken part, cure it, polish it again, and blow the surfacer again to complete the base treatment.
