木製甲板を修正しました

以前の記事で触れたとおり、エッチングパーツと木製甲板シートが相いれない仕様なので、木製甲板シートをもう一枚取り寄せて切り欠き部分を修正しました。

As I mentioned in the previous article, the photo-etched parts and the wooden deck sheet are incompatible, so I ordered another wooden deck sheet and fixed the cutouts.

まずもう一枚木製甲板シートを取り寄せる

日本国内の模型店では見つけられなかったので、海外の模型店から取り寄せました

I couldn’t find it at a model shop in Japan, so I ordered it from a model shop overseas.

採寸して木製甲板シートをカット

既に張り付けてある木製甲板シートの切り欠き部分のうち、木製甲板部分の寸法をディバイダーで測り

Measure the dimensions of the wooden deck part of the notched part of the already attached wooden deck sheet with a divider.

木製甲板シートをディバイダーに合わせてカットします

Cut the wooden deck sheet to fit the divider

そして甲板に貼り付けます

and attach it to the deck

まずまず良い感じではないでしょうか

Isn’t it a good feeling?

船首甲板の切り欠きはエッチングとの兼ね合いがあるのでこの段階では貼り付けていません

The notch on the bow deck is not pasted at this stage because there is a balance with the etching.
