電飾ユニットはUSBから給電するタイプに変更しました。

The illumination unit has been changed to a type that supplies power from USB.

なかなか良い色だと思います。ただ、問題になるのがケースへ固定です。LED部も、それなりの幅がありますし、USB-typeAはまあまあの大きさがあるので、予定していた金属脚の内部を通らないんですね。USB-Type-Cに変換して再度変換という手もあるのかもしれませんがType-CからType-Aへの変換は規格外ですから使用できません。じゃあmicroUSBにするとか脚を三本にするとかも考えましたが、結局は正攻法にしました。

I think it’s a very nice color. The only problem is fixing it to the case. The LED part has a certain width, and the USB-typeA is large, so it doesn’t pass through the planned metal leg. There may be a way to convert to USB-Type-C and then convert again, but conversion from Type-C to Type-A is not standard and cannot be used. Then I thought about making it microUSB or having three legs, but in the end I went straight.

正攻法　金属脚を大きくする

という事で正攻法、

The straight attack method,

小西製作所の金属脚でもかなり大きい方です。1/350の大和などに使うタイプです。少し大きいですがこれなら、問題なく通ります。

必然的にアクリルケースも電飾を考えて特注になりますね。

船体へのナットの固定も少し工夫が必要なのですが、使えそうな金具がありましたから、大丈夫でしょう。

Even the metal legs of Konishi Seisakusho are quite large. It is a type used for 1/350 Yamato. It’s a little big, but I’m fine with this.

Inevitably, the acrylic case will also be custom-made considering the illumination.

Fixing the nut to the hull also requires some ingenuity, but there was a metal fitting that could be used, so it should be fine.
