童友社の1/700タイタニックを電飾仕様で制作します。

実はモンモデルのタイタニックの電飾ユニットを流用するつもりでスタートしました。

電飾ユニットだけを試験点灯してみた状態

Actually, I started with the intention of diverting the Titanic illumination unit of the Meng model.

白系のLEDよりもずっとタイタニックらしい電球色ですね。

ただ、このLEDユニットの動作が不安定で点いたり消えたりするんです。いろいろ試してみたのですが、私は電気回路に関して素人ですし原因を特定できませんでした。経年劣化は仕方がないにしても、最初からついたり消えたりはいけないという事で方針を転換して、市販のフレキシブルタイプの電球色LEDを使用します。

USBのフレキシブルLEDを使用予定です。USBだとAC→USBアダプターはもちろんモバイルバッテリーでも運用できるはずなので、圧倒的に利便性が高いと思います。

白系のLEDよりもずっとタイタニックらしい電球色ですね。

However, the operation of this LED unit is unstable and turns on and off. I tried various things, but I could not identify the cause because I am an amateur about electric circuits. Even if it can’t be helped that it will deteriorate over time, we decided to change our policy and use a commercially available flexible light bulb color LED because it shouldn’t turn on and off from the beginning.

I am planning to use USB flexible LED. If it is USB, it should be possible to operate it with an AC → USB adapter as well as a mobile battery, so I think it is overwhelmingly convenient.
