ヤマシタホビー新作キット

発売は2021年5月で、2021年10月の時点で橘型も発売されています。橘型は後にキットレビューを予定しています。

ディテール・作りやすさ共に優れており、ヤマシタホビーの特型駆逐艦と並んで21世紀の1/700駆逐艦キットの模範と言えるキットです。機銃沢山のコテコテ仕様駆逐艦がお好きなら、第一選択でしょう。

It is a kit that can be said to be a model of the 1/700 destroyer kit of the 21st century, along with the special destroyer of Yamashita Hobby, which is excellent in both detail and ease of making. If you like destroyers with lots of guns, this is your first choice.

船体パーツ。反りの発生しにくい左右分割式です。艦首フェアリーダーは別パーツになっています。

Hull parts. It is a left-right split type that does not easily warp. The bow fair leader is a separate part.

船体中央が盛り上がるキャンバーが再現されています。それから、地味ですが声を大にして言いたい箇所。

艦橋や後部構造物の取り付け部に凹みがある

ヤマシタホビーの特型でも一部この設計で、睦月型もこの設計ですが、竹では広範囲にこの方法になっています。この設計は艦橋や後部構造物の接地性が向上します。歪みなく隙間なく接着するため実に有効ですし、甲板と構造物の隙間が物理的に無くなります。

ただし、後述しますが、単装機銃の甲板接地部分をモールドしたのは良くも悪くもあります。

Some Yamashita Hobby Fubuki-class destroyers have this design, and Mutsuki-class destroyers also have this design, but bamboo uses this method extensively. This design improves the ground contact of bridges and rear structures. It is really effective because it adheres without distortion and without gaps, and the gap between the deck and the structure is physically eliminated.

However, as will be described later, it is good or bad to mold the deck grounding part of a single machine gun.

船体の外板継ぎ目は凸モールドです。本当の段差にすべきという話も聞いたことがありますが、1/700ですと、紙1枚よりも薄い段差なので、凸モールドでいいのではないでしょうか？。細い凹モールドでも良いと思います。

The outer skin seam of the hull is a convex mold. I’ve heard that it should be a true step, but if it’s 1/700, it’s a step thinner than a piece of paper, so I think it’s okay to use a convex mold. .. I think a thin concave mold is fine.

ブルワークなども十分薄いです。タミヤ的に上部に向かって強めのテーパーで薄く見せる方法もあったかな？と思いますが。内側から削り込むならヤマシタホビー位が削りやすいので、一長一短です。

高角砲など

松型の主砲は日本海軍で広く使われた、12.7cm連装高角砲です。ただし、砲架は単装も連装も松型専用で、この竹ではヤマシタホビーの既存の12.7cm連装高角砲とは違う形状になっています。注目してほしいのは前面右側の突起です。松型専用の出力向上型旋回用電動機に関連する膨らみです。

爆雷投射機などの細部パーツ。松型は各艦で爆雷装備も違いがありますが、作り分けられるだけの分量が入っています。

機銃関係、これも十分数があるので、他の艦への改造も可能です。

注意点

実に優れたキットなのですが、１つだけ注意点があります。説明書通り作ると「竹」の竣工状態になります。

箱絵のオルモック夜戦状態で作るなら機銃の増設と13号電探の増設が必要です。

単装機銃の接地部は竣工時装備されていた8基しかモールドされていません。ランナーからナイフで削り取るタイプで十分なので追加パーツが欲しかった所です。
