実機解説
零式水上観測機（制式名称「零式観測機」）は敵戦闘機の妨害を排除しつつ短距離偵察と弾着観測を行うために、高い空戦能力を持つ水上偵察機です。1940年末に採用され、艦載機や沿岸基地機として活躍しました。その運動性能は96艦戦に匹敵するものといわれ、米戦闘機と空戦を行い、ガダルカナルなどでもF4Fを撃墜しています。
The Zero-type surface observation aircraft (formal name “Zero-type observation aircraft”) is a surface reconnaissance aircraft with high air combat capability in order to perform short-range reconnaissance and impact observation while eliminating the interference of enemy fighters. Adopted at the end of 1940, it was used as a carrier-based aircraft and a coastal base aircraft. Its athletic performance is said to be comparable to 96 warships, and it has fought air battles with US fighters and shot down the F4F even in Guadalcanal.
キット紹介
2009年前半に出たハセガワのキットです。特別版の前期型です。別売のエッチングも含め大変作り易いキットでした。特設水上機母艦「山陽丸」の搭載機のマーキングにしてみました。
This is a Hasegawa kit released in the first half of 2009. This is the early model of the special edition. It was a very easy-to-make kit including etching (sold separately). I tried to mark the onboard aircraft of the special surface aircraft mother ship “Sanyo Maru”.
制作・塗装
各部のスジ彫りを彫り直し、ハセガワ純正の別売エッチングパーツを使用しただけで、後はストレート組です。爆弾のフィンはエッチングへの換装を行っていません。
サーフェイサー+ブラックを下地に基本塗装を行いました。
機体色 灰緑色（ガイアノーツ）の明度を変えてグラデーション塗装です。スモークグレーのシャドウで補正を行っいます。
ブラック+ジャーマングレーでウォッシング後にデカールを貼り、デカールの上から再度スモークグレーでシャドウを入れています
最後につや消しクリアーを吹いています。
All you have to do is re-engrave the streaks of each part and use genuine Hasegawa etching parts, and the rest is a straight set. Bomb fins have not been converted to etching.
Basic painting was done on the surfacer + black as a base.
It is a gradation painting by changing the brightness of the aircraft color gray green (Gaia Notes). The correction is done with a smoke gray shadow.
After washing with black + German gray, attach the decal, and put the shadow again with smoke gray from the top of the decal.
Finally, I’m blowing a matte clear.
