デジタル迷彩はデカールで

ウクライナのSu-27は美しいデジタル迷彩が施されている事で有名です。ただ、これを塗装で再現となるとかなり難しく、長時間の作業になるのは確実でした。

そこでDXMデカールを使用します。

デカールなのでマスキングに比べれば遥かに短時間でデジタル迷彩を再現できます。

The Ukrainian Su-27 is famous for its beautiful digital camouflage. However, it was quite difficult to reproduce this by painting, and it was certain that it would be a long time work.

So I use DXM decals.

Since it is a decal, you can reproduce digital camouflage in a much shorter time than masking.

デカールは焦らずちょっとづつ

デカールの印刷はカルトグラフで品質的には申し分ありません。ほとんど透けませんし、適度な「コシ」もあり貼りやすいです。ただ、曲面やスジボリへの密着はマークセッターとマークソフターが必要です。

The decal printing is a cult graph and the quality is perfect. It is almost invisible, and it is easy to paste because it has a moderate “stiffness”. However, a mark setter and a mark softer are required to adhere to curved surfaces and streaks.

Mrマークセッターを塗ってからデカールを貼ります。貼ってすぐはスジボリに入り込んでいません。

さらにタミヤのデカールフィットスーパーハードを使って密着させます

Apply Mr Marksetter and then apply the decal. Immediately after pasting it, it has not entered the streak.

In addition, use Tamiya’s Decal Fit Super Hard to make it adhere.

そして、とても大事なこと

マークソフターやマークフィット、特に強力なタイプを使ったら、乾燥するまで触らない！

今回の大判デカールでは3枚くらい貼ったら乾燥させるを繰り返しています。

And very important thing

If you use Mark Softer or Mark Fit, especially the powerful type, don’t touch the decal until it dries!

In this large format decal, after pasting about 3 sheets, it is repeatedly dried.
