前回船体の接着を完了したので表面処理に移ります。

Since we completed the bonding of the hull last time, we will move on to surface treatment.

喫水板合わせ目消し

プラ板で作った喫水板と船体の接着線のやすりがけを行います。

File the adhesive line between the draft plate made of plastic plate and the hull.

艦首の下部がかなり丸まっているので削り込みます。

The lower part of the bow is quite rounded, so I will cut it.

隙間に瞬間接着剤を充填

凹みや隙間にタミヤのイージーサンディングを充填します。一旦マスキングテープの上に出してから爪楊枝で隙間に流し込んでいきます。

Fill the dents and gaps with Tamiya’s Easy Sanding. Put it on the masking tape and pour it into the gap with a toothpick.

スキージャンプの側面はかなり大きな隙間がでます。イージーサンディングを何回かに分けて充填します。反対舷の張り出しもかなり隙間が出るので同じようにイージーサンディングを充填します。

There is a fairly large gap on the side of the ski jump. Fill the Easy Sanding in several batches. The overhang on the opposite side also has a considerable gap, so fill it with Easy Sanding in the same way.

ヤスリ掛け

硬化後にやすりをかけていきます。

After curing, sand it.

反対舷もやすりをかけ整形します。

The opposite side is also sanded and shaped.

小さな傷にはラッカーパテを充填します。

Fill small scratches with lacquer putty.

パテを塗ったら乾燥まで放置します。

After applying the putty, leave it to dry.
