実機解説

MiG-21PFはソ連のベストセラー戦闘機MiG-21の第二世代になります。第三世代がMiG-21SやMIG-21MFとなります。第二世代の中でもPFM以降は第三世代に近い特徴を持っていますが、PFは前開きキャノピーやファウラーフラップの装備など、より第一世代に近い特徴を残しています。

The MiG-21PF is the second generation of the Soviet fighter MiG-21. The third generation will be MiG-21S and MIG-21MF. Among the second generation, after PFM, it has characteristics close to the third generation, but PF retains the characteristics closer to the first generation, such as the front opening canopy and the equipment of the fowler flap.

北ベトナム空軍の架空の撃墜王グエントーンが搭乗していたとさせるMiG-21PFの4326号機です。

It is the MiG-21PF No. 4326, which is said to have been on board the fictitious shooting down king Nguyen Toon of the North Vietnam Air Force.

キット紹介

アカデミーのキットです。2022年現在、エデュアルドの1/48のプラスチックモデルが存在しているので、特にPFでは進んでこのキットを選ぶ理由は少ないかもしれません。

Academy kit. As of 2022, there is a 1/48 plastic model of the Eduard, so there may be little reason to be willing to choose this kit, especially in the PF.

ただ、アカデミーもプラモデルとしての出来はそれほど悪くなく、手を入れがいがあるので工作を楽しむならおすすめとなります。

However, the result as a plastic model is not so bad, and it is worth the effort, so it is recommended if you enjoy the work.

製作・塗装

MiG-21MFが基本のキットなので、フラップの改造を手始めに広範囲に改造を行いました。また、一部改造を行ってキャノピーを開状態にしてあります。塗装はクレオスのスーパーメタリック２シリーズを使用しました。

Since the MiG-21MF is the basic kit, we made extensive modifications starting with the flap modifications. In addition, the canopy has been opened with some modifications. The painting used Creos Super Metallic 2 series.
