The last armored cruiser built by the German Navy. Von der Tan and Moltke, which will be built after this, are classified as battle cruisers worldwide. The German Navy calls both armored cruisers and battle cruisers large cruisers.
The biggest difference from Von der Tan is the caliber of the main gun. The Brucher is a standard 21 cm cannon for armored cruisers, but the von der Tan has been changed to a battleship-like 28 cm cannon.
In addition to incorporating the etching parts included in the Combrig kit, the following parts were used and used as a reference.
1 Takom 1/700 Derfflinger decal and painting instructions
2 Flyhawk 1/700 Derfflinger etching parts Insufficient etching of combrics such as handrails and manholes
3 ICM König painting instructions
In addition, since the mast has different parts, instructions, and package images, brass wires are also used to make it look like it has a yard in the middle. Probably because the equipment such as telegraph is different depending on the age, I think that the structure of the mast is different.
The main gun was fixed using Pit Multi 2, so it can be moved by careful touch.
