前回に続いて船体の表面処理を行い、船体工作を完了しました
Continuing from the previous time, the surface of the hull was treated and the hull work was completed.
艦首開口部工作
艦首舷側、艦首錨鎖甲板付近には開口部があります。キットでは凸モールドですが、実艦と位置も異なりますので、開口して再現します。
There is an opening on the bow side, near the bow anchor chain deck. Although it is a convex mold in the kit, the position is different from the actual ship, so it will be reproduced by opening it.
まずデザインナイフでアタリを付けます。
First, attach the Atari with a design knife.
ドリルで穴を開けてから、穴を繋げるようにナイフで開口部を整形します。
Drill a hole, then connect the holes and shape the opening with a knife.
開口を完了させました。更に全体を800番で磨きます
Completed the opening.Further polish the whole with ♯ 800
艦橋工作
艦橋側面の張り出しがかなり分厚いので、デザインナイフのカンナ掛けを行って薄く見せます
The overhang on the side of the bridge is quite thick, so make it look thinner by hanging a design knife on it.
主要部が完成しました。研磨粉だらけになったので、ここで一旦洗浄します。The main part is completed. It’s full of polishing powder, so wash it here.
