基本工作が完了したので塗装工程に入ります。

Now that the basic work has been completed, we will start the painting process.

まず飛行甲板のブラックとダークシーグレーを塗装します。ブラックはブラックに近いグレーのカーボンブラックマットを使用、ダークシーグレーはMr.カラー331です。

First, paint the flight deck black and dark sea gray. Black uses a gray carbon black mat that is close to black, and dark sea gray is Mr. color 331.

マスキング工程

一番面倒とも言えるマスキングです。マスキングばかりすると集中力も落ちてくるので、少しづつ進めます。

Masking is the most troublesome. If you just mask, your concentration will drop, so proceed little by little.

舷側と黒帯塗装

舷側をMrカラー308、喫水線付近の黒帯のカーボンブラックマットで塗装します。マスキングを剥がすとエッチング製甲板の一部はマスキングテープと一緒に塗装が剥がれてしまったので、サンディングした後で再度塗装しました。

この後のスミ入れとデカールの工程を考え光沢のクリアーでコートしました。

Paint the side with Mr color 308 and a black belt carbon black mat near the waterline. When the masking was peeled off, the paint on a part of the etched deck was peeled off together with the masking tape, so I painted it again after sanding.

Considering the process of adding stains and decals after this, I coated it with a clear gloss.
