ZZモデル　アメリカ陸軍レーダー　SCR-268　レジンキットの完成品です。レジンキットとはいいながら、エッチングパーツもかなりの部分を占めるマルチマテリアルキットです。

にも記しましたが、アメリカ陸軍のレーダーです。アメリカ海軍のCXAMレーダーの技術提供を受けて開発されました。

It is a radar of the United States Army. Developed with the technology provided by the US Navy’s CXAM radar.

キット紹介

キット紹介はこちらに、作ってみての感想は、エッチングの折り曲げ線が最近の国産エッチングやエデュアルドほど高くないので、どうしても歪んでしまいます。またレジンパーツ自体の変形もあるので、直しても直してもどこかが歪むという印象です。

製作・塗装

ZZモデル　1/72 アメリカ陸軍レーダー　SCR-268　１でのアウトリガーの工程、左右に伸びるアームの折り曲げ、レーダー素子の組付けと難所続出でした。

塗装はプライマー又はガイアノーツのメカサフライトを吹いてから、タミヤの瓶入りラッカー塗料のオリーブドラブ２です。レーダー素子はブラック系やシルバー系の可能性もあるのですがオリーブドラブ２にしました

ZZ model 1/72 US Army radar SCR-268 1 outrigger process, bending of the arm extending to the left and right, assembling the radar element and a series of difficult points.

The paint is Olive Drab 2 of Tamiya’s bottled lacquer paint after blowing Primer or Gaia Notes Mechasaflight. The radar element may be black or silver, but I chose Olive Drab 2.
