実艦解説

1960年代後半に就役した多目的護衛艦で5インチ速射砲二門を搭載し、当時としては有力な対空兵装を持った護衛艦でした。「あまつかぜ」にも搭載されたターターシステムを補完する兵装と考えられました。しかし世界的にはミサイル化が急速に進み陳腐化してきたためにシースパローなどを搭載するFRAM（近代化改装）が行われ21世紀になるまで活躍しました。

-A multi-purpose escort ship commissioned in the late 1960s, equipped with two 5-inch rapid-fire guns, and was an escort ship with powerful anti-aircraft armament at the time. It was thought to be a weapon that complemented the Tartar system, which was also installed on the Amatsukase. However, as missiles rapidly progressed around the world and became obsolete, FRAM (modernization and refurbishment) equipped with Sea Sparrow and other missiles was carried out and remained active until the 21st century.

キット紹介

この記事でも述べましたが、船体の反りがかなり厳しく、更に元々反っていなかった個体も含めて、ベースから外すと徐々に反ってきているようです（撮影時に少し反っています）。なおベースにも金属補強材を入れてネジ止めしてあるので、ベースに固定してしまえば問題ありません。

As I mentioned in this article, the hull is quite severely warped, and even some of the boats that weren’t originally warped seem to be gradually warping when removed from the base (it was slightly warped when I took the photo). The base also has metal reinforcing material and is secured with screws, so there is no problem once it is fixed to the base.

製作

ラティスマストはキットだとメタルパーツのムクです。そこで、「はるな」用のエッチングを一部加工して取り付けました。

細部パーツはほぼピットロードの新しい装備品セットに交換してあります。手すりは汎用のエッチング、ホイップアンテナはナイロン線です。塗装はクレオスのMr.カラー607と608です。

The lattice mast is a metal part if it is a kit. Therefore, I modified some of the photo-etching for “Haruna” and installed it.

Most of the detail parts have been replaced with a new Pit Road equipment set. The handrail is made of general-purpose etching, and the whip antenna is made of nylon wire. The paint is Creos Mr. Color 607 and 608.
