Hasegawa 1/700 JMSDF Escort Ship Abukuma Hyper Detail Kit Review

発売当初に購入して作ったことがあります。20年近くぶりの製作です。ハセガワは通常版、スーパーディテール、ハイパーディテールと三種類発売しています。今回は2019年に発売されたハイパーディテール版を製作します。
I have purchased and made it when it was first released. This is the first production in nearly 20 years. Hasegawa has released three types: regular version, super detail, and hyper detail. This time, we will produce a hyper-detailed version released in 2019.
箱組の上部構造物が特徴
1/700 艦船模型では2000年前後から金型の制約上モールドが入らない部分をどうするかが課題となっていました。1990年代後半から特に試行錯誤が続き、従来の一部モールド省略方式から、細部モールド貼り付け、箱組といろいろな方法が試されました。細部モールド貼り付けは細部モールドパーツの薄さの限界があり、箱組はパーツ点数の増加という欠点がありました。
2015年位から、スライド金型を駆使してパーツ点数を抑えつつ、全方向にモールドを入れる方式が標準となっています。
このハセガワの「あぶくま」は、ハセガワが箱組を試していた時期のキットで大きさの割にパーツ点数が多くなっています。
Since around the year 2000, the problem with 1/700 ship models has been how to deal with the parts that cannot be molded due to mold limitations. Since the latter half of the 1990s, trial and error has continued, and various methods have been tried, such as the conventional method of omitting some molds, attaching detailed molds, and box assembly. There is a limit to the thinness of detail mold parts, and box assembly has the drawback of increasing the number of parts.
Since around 2015, it has become standard to use slide molds to reduce the number of parts and insert molds in all directions.
This Hasegawa “Abukuma” is a kit from the time Hasegawa was experimenting with box assembly, and the number of parts is large for its size.
細部のモールドは2022年基準でも素晴らしいです。
The detail molds are great even by 2022 standards.
各パーツの薄さも上々です。
The thinness of each part is excellent.
艦橋前面パーツもシャープで、申し分ありません
The front part of the bridge is also sharp and perfect.
これが箱組のパーツです。上部構造物どこ？と言いたくなります
This is the box part. Where is the superstructure? I want to say
細部パーツのランナーです。
It is a runner of detailed parts.
対艦ミサイルのランチャーも十分すぎる出来です。ナノドレッドやピットロードの新しいパーツを投入しなくても良いのではないでしょうか？
The anti-ship missile launcher is too good. Wouldn’t it be better not to use nano dreads or pit road parts?
ハイパーディテールに付属しているエッチングパーツです。
沢山ついていますが、全部使う必要はありません。
It is an etching part attached to Hyper Detail.
There are a lot of them, but you don’t have to use them all.
