ドラゴンの1/700　イギリス海軍軽空母（VTOL空母）　イラストリアスのキットの紹介です。

ドラゴンのインヴィンシブル級航空母艦のキット紹介です。フォークランド紛争時のインヴィンシブルに比べるとスキージャンプの角度が深くなり改装を受けた2005年頃のイギリス艦隊旗艦時の状態です。

2021年現在の主流となっているウォーターラインモデル、フルハルモデル選択式ではなく、フルハル限定のキット構成です。今回ウォーターラインモデル仕様に変更するので、船体の切断が必要になります。それなりにスキルや工具が無いと切断は困難だと思います。

このキットは1999年頃の発売で、白線をデカール再現が完全には定着していない時期で、白線が凸モールドとなっています。今回の制作では凸モールドからデカール又は塗装に切り替えを行います

This kit was released around 1999, and the white line is a convex mold at a time when the method of reproducing the white line as a decal has not been completely established. In this production, we will switch from convex mold to decal or painting.

ゴールキーパーCIWSは1999年のインヴィンシブルに比べ若干進化したものが付属していますが、2022年の目では若干物足りないと感じる人もいつかもしれません。

Goalkeeper CIWS comes with a slightly evolved version of the 1999 Invincible, but some may find it a bit unsatisfactory in 2022.

全体の印象はそれほど悪くありません、まずますシャープです。

このランナーのハリアーはシーハリアーでハリアーⅡ仕様のGR.7/9ではありません。

This runner’s Harrier is a Sea Harrier, not a GR.7 / 9 with Harrier II specifications.

イギリス海軍の装備品セットです。一見してわかる通り、元々はピットロードの製品の金型です。

カルトグラフのデカールと小さなエッチングが付属しています。ただし、カルトグラフのデカールには白線は含まれていませんし、エッチングに手すりは含まれていません。
