実艦解説

神通は川内型軽巡洋艦二番艦です。美保関事件で駆逐艦と接触し艦首を喪失したため、スプーンバウからダブルカーブバウに変更されました。

Jintsu is the second Sendai-class light cruiser. She was changed from her spoon bow to a double curve bow because she contacted the destroyer and lost her bow in the Mihonoseki Incident.

アオシマ　1/700　日本海軍軽巡洋艦「川内」1933 完成品　SENDAI　AOSHIMA

太平洋戦争中は水雷戦隊旗艦として活躍。コロンバンガラ島沖海戦では旗艦神通自ら探照灯を照射、探照灯を照射した神通には連合国艦隊の攻撃が集中し、神通は沈没します。神通に攻撃が集中したため、水雷戦隊の駆逐艦は攻撃を受けず、魚雷を発射し、駆逐艦１隻を撃沈、巡洋艦３隻大破させるなどしました。

Active as a flagship of the Destroyer Squadron during the Pacific War. In the Battle of Kolombangara Island, her flagship Jintsuu illuminates the searchlight herself, and the attacks of the Allied fleet are concentrated on Jintsuu, and Jintsuu sinks. Due to the concentration of attacks on Jintsuu, the destroyers of the Destroyer Squadron were not attacked, and the destroyers fired torpedoes, sank one destroyer, and wrecked three cruisers.

キット紹介

アオシマが2008年に発売したキットです。川内と異なるダブルカーブバウを再現してありますし、パーツ点数は少ないながらもまずまずの精密感のキットです。

This kit was released by Aoshima in 2008. The double curve bow that is different from Kawauchi has been reproduced, and although the number of parts is small, it is a kit with a reasonable sense of precision.

製作

ジョーワールドの神通用エッチングパーツを使用しました。手すりはライオンロアの汎用エッチングパーツです。

I used the godly etching parts of Joe World. The handrail is a general-purpose etched part of Lion Roar.
