エアフィックスの大型キット、1/72バルカンの紹介です。

Introducing Airfix’s large kit, 1/72 Vulcan.

主翼は呆れるほどの大きさです。ほんとに1/72ですか？という印象。スジ彫りはいつものエアフィックスタッチの比較的くっきりしたタイプ。

The main wings are surprisingly large. Is it really 1/72? That’s the impression. The line carving is a relatively clear type of Airfix touch.

モールドはシャープで好印象です。

The mold is sharp and gives a good impression.

フォークランド紛争の通常爆弾も準備されています。

Conventional bombs for the Falklands War are also being prepared.

コクピット内も1/72としては十分です。とはいえ、バルカンの構造上コクピット内はほぼ見えません・

The inside of the cockpit is also sufficient for 1/72. However, due to the structure of the Vulcan, it is almost impossible to see inside the cockpit.

足回りも精密に再現されています

The suspension has also been precisely reproduced.

ブルースチールミサイルが付属しています。

Comes with a blue steel missile.

どうやって飛行状態を保持するか

このキット、飛行状態で作ります。飛行状態で作れるようになっていますが、問題どうやって飛行状態保持するかです。いつも使っているバンダイのアクションベースで保持できるのかどうかかなり怪しい大きさなので、仮組しつつ固定方法を考える事にします。

This kit is made in flight condition. It can be created while in flight, but the problem is how to maintain the flight state. It’s so big that I doubt whether it will be able to hold it with the Bandai action base that I always use, so I’m going to temporarily assemble it and think about how to fix it.
