実感解説
「ローマ」はイタリア海軍のヴィットリオ・ベネト級戦艦の4番艦です。ヴィットリオ・ベネトはワシントン軍縮条約の代艦建造規定により設計建造された戦艦です。
高初速型の15インチ砲と充実した防御、更に30ノットという速力。更に何と言っても、この性能を4万トン程度に抑え、「持たざる国」イタリアにも関わらずこのタイプを４隻就役させたことは特筆に価します。しかしながら、燃料不足や消極的な運用により戦果はほとんど無いまま終戦を迎えます。連合軍に投降を始めたイタリア艦隊に対し、ドイツ空軍が誘導爆弾「フリッツX」による攻撃を開始、「ローマ」はフリッツXの直撃を受け沈没します。「ローマ」は誘導爆弾の命中により沈没した最初の戦艦となりました。
“Roma” is the fourth ship of the Italian Navy’s Vittorio Veneto class battleships. Vittorio Veneto is a battleship designed and built according to the provisions of the Washington Disarmament Treaty.
She has a high muzzle velocity 15-inch gun, good defense, and a speed of 30 knots. Furthermore, it is worth noting that this performance was suppressed to about 40,000 tons, and that four ships of this type were commissioned despite Italy being the “have-nots” country. However, due to her lack of fuel and passive operation, the war ended with almost no results. The German Air Force launched an attack with the guided bomb “Fritz X” against the Italian fleet that began to surrender to the Allied Forces, and “Roma” was sunk by a direct hit by the Fritz X. “Roma” became the first battleship to be sunk by a guided bomb hit.

塗装はサーフェイサー＋ブラックを下地にしています。

最後につや消しクリアーを吹いて空中線を追加しています。
With almost no modifications, handrails and antennas are added.
The painting is based on surfacer + black.
Light Gray = Mr Color 308 + EX White
Dark Gray = Mr Color 333
White = EX White
Red = EX White → Red
Finally, the matte clear is blown to add the antenna.
